The Union of Young Eurasians of Georgia was registered in 2018. The organization’s registration coincided with the visit to Tbilisi of Vladimir Kireev, Head of the Analytical Department of the International Eurasian Movement, during which he also held a press conference together with Giorgi Iremadze.
The International Eurasian Movement is linked to Russian ultranationalist philosopher Alexander Dugin. Iremadze’s connection to the Eurasian network was further demonstrated in 2021, when he participated in an event of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly alongside Shota Apkhaidze.
The organization’s activities are primarily tied to its founder, Giorgi Iremadze, whose close ties with Russia are evidenced by his participation in various Kremlin-organized events.
In addition to the Union of Young Eurasians of Georgia, Giorgi Iremadze is the founder of the Kremlin-aligned Patrioti TV and a member of the Political Council of “Solidarity for Peace.” He attends events held in Russia. Iremadze was also actively involved in the campaign against the Lugar Laboratory and frequently appeared on Zvezda, the television channel of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
