Giorgi Iremadze is currently a member of the Political Council of the party “Solidarity for Peace”, which advocates for revising Georgia’s foreign policy and fostering closer ties with Russia. According to Transparency International Georgia’s database, Iremadze made two donations to the party: GEL 1,496 in 2024 and GEL 2,000 in 2025.
In addition to his political role, Iremadze is the head of the Union of Young Eurasians and founder of Patrioti TV. Iremadze’s connection to the Eurasian network was further demonstrated in 2021, when he participated in an event of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly alongside Shota Apkhaidze. However, the organization’s activities are primarily tied to its founder, Giorgi Iremadze.
He is known for promoting anti-Western, pro-Kremlin narratives and frequently appears on Russian propaganda outlets such as Solovyov Live and TV Zvezda (1,2). In the past, his articles were also published by Georgia and the World, a platform known for its anti-Western editorial policy.
Giorgi Iremadze was actively involved in the campaign against the Lugar Laboratory, cooperating with Russia’s Ministry of Defense TV channel Zvezda. Patrioti TV, founded by Iremadze, co-produced one of the documentaries targeting the Lugar Laboratory. He also appears in a film aired by Al-Mayadeen, a channel linked to Hezbollah. The documentary was prepared by Kremlin-affiliated journalist Dilyana Gaytandzhieva together with American journalist Jeffrey Silverman. In both documentaries, identical conspiracy theories about the Lugar Laboratory were spread by the same respondents, including Iremadze.
Iremadze actively participates in events held in Russia. On 3–10 July 2022, he participated in “Georgian-Russian Dialogue 2022,” organized by the Gorchakov Fund and the Primakov Georgian-Russian Center, alongside Dimitri Lortkipanidze, Davit Akhvlediani, Temur Maisuradze, Archil Sikharulidze, and Vasil Kapanadze. That same year, he also took part in a Moscow forum titled “Russia-Georgia Relations and Prospects for Their Development”, together with members of Solidarity for Peace and other pro-Russian organizations. The event was organized by representatives of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration, and Relations with Compatriots, with discussions focusing on visa liberalization, resumption of direct flights, and deepening of economic ties.
Additionally, Iremadze is an administrator of several Facebook groups advocating for the normalization of Russia-Georgia relations, including საქართველო და რუსეთი/Грузия и Россия (Georgia and Russia) და ქართულ-რუსული დიალოგი (Georgian-Russian Dialogue). These groups regularly share information about the activities of Solidarity for Peace members in Russia, as well as opportunities for Georgian youth to receive free education at Russian universities.
In 2024, Iremadze visited occupied Luhansk, which was also covered by Kremlin propaganda media.
