On September 30, a quote attributed to American rapper and actor Jaden Smith was shared on a Threads account. He allegedly responded to rapper P. Diddy’s scandal and accused his father, actor Will Smith, of collaborating with the rapper.

Jaden Smith: “I couldn’t walk for a week. My father worked with him (P. Diddy), and it caused trauma to both me and Justin Bieber.”

This quote also spread on the Russian-speaking social network dzen.ru and on Telegram.

The quote attributed to Jaden Smith cannot be found in any open or reliable sources. Additionally, there is no record of him commenting on P. Diddy’s scandal.

Jaden Smith has not publicly responded to the P. Diddy scandal. No reputable media outlets covering the issue ( 1, 2, 3)

have published this quote or any general comment from Smith on the matter.

Furthermore, Jaden Smith has not made any statements regarding the P. Diddy scandal on his social media accounts  (FacebookInstagram and X).

It is also noteworthy that a fake quote from singer Justin Bieber on the same topic was circulated, which Myth Detector previously debunked as well.

Rapper P. Diddy, also known as Sean Combs, was arrested in New York on September 17. He is accused of kidnapping women, drugging them, and forcing them into sexual activity (sometimes with the use of firearms and threats of violence). In September, police searched his home, where he had hosted various parties. Reportedly, items used during “Freak Outs” (orgies) were seized from the location, including drugs and more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil. The rapper denies all allegations. In the past, several women have accused Sean Combs of sexual assault.
