On June 22-23, a video was circulated on Russian-language (1, 2, 3)  and Georgian-language Facebook accounts, which, according to the description, shows Israeli refugees moving toward Egypt. The authors of the posts claim that the video was filmed near Eilat, on the Israel-Egypt border, and that the migration was triggered by Iranian missile strikes and the closure of Israeli airspace.

The circulated video does not depict Israeli refugees and has no connection to the Israel-Iran conflict. The footage was filmed in France, at the music festival Hellfest Open Air 2025. The video was originally uploaded by the TikTok user chris19100505, whose page features many other videos from the festival.

The video shared on Facebook, which allegedly shows Israeli refugees, was actually filmed in Clisson, near Nantes, France, during the Hellfest Open Air 2025 music festival. It was first shared on the TikTok account chris19100505, which has posted several other videos from the event. In the footage, white objects can be seen. Based on other videos by chris19100505, it can be concluded that these are trade booths set up for the festival. Similar scenes are also featured on the official Facebook page of the festival.

It is worth noting that tents can be pitched on the festival grounds. The video shows people preparing to camp. Footage of festival participants arriving at the location with their luggage is also posted on the festival’s Facebook page. The video has no connection to the Israel-Iran conflict.

Hellfest 2025 took place in Clisson from June 19-22, and footage from the event is available on its Instagram and Facebook pages.

On the night of June 13, Israel attacked Iran, and in response, Iran bombed Israel, including the capital, Tel Aviv. Israel’s primary targets included Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, military generals, and scientists involved in Iran’s nuclear weapons program. On June 23, U.S. President Donald Trump wrote on social media that Israel and Iran had agreed on a “complete and total ceasefire.” Myth Detector has recently fact-checked several false claims and visual manipulations related to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
