According to the caption on the video, Ben-Gvir accuses the head of Mossad of provoking a war with Iran. In response, David Barnea allegedly says he had no information that Iran possessed such missile capabilities.
The video distributed by Georgia First NEWS does not actually depict a confrontation between Israeli politicians over the Iran-Israel war. The footage is from 2022 and does not feature David Barnea, the head of Mossad. Instead, the video shows then-member of parliament and far-right politician Itamar Ben-Gvir and the Minister of Public Security at the time, Omer Bar-Lev. Their conflict was related to a terrorist attack that occurred in Israel.
The footage, which has been circulating on social media in recent days, was originally published by Israeli media in 2022. At the time, the media reported that the video captured a confrontation between local politicians Omer Bar-Lev and Itamar Ben-Gvir. Notably, David Barnea, head of Mossad, does not appear in the video.
On March 27, 2022, a terrorist attack took place in the Israeli city of Hadera, during which two border police officers were killed and 12 people injured. Then-Minister of Public Security Omer Bar-Lev arrived at the scene.

While Bar-Lev was giving a statement to the media, he was interrupted by far-right MP and current Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir. According to local media, Ben-Gvir and his supporters blocked the road and chanted “Death to Arabs.” In their reports, media outlets noted that Ben-Gvir called the minister “the most incompetent minister” and told him he should be ashamed.
