On March 15, Facebook user Larisa Tsitlanadze published the video several times depicting the doctor Lana Ubilava’s vaccination with COVID-19 AstraZeneca vaccine in Zugdidi. In the video caption, Larisa Tsitlanadze writes that the tip of the needle is misplaced on the vial, “as if the doctor withdrew the vaccine”.
Larisa Tsitlanadze published the aforesaid video at 11:58 and as of 17:00, it has over 4 800 shares. Facebook user published an identical video at 13:06 and 14:35.
The same video was disseminated by the chairperson of the political party “Georgia” Giorgi Liluashvili, Facebook profiles Maia Dvalidze, Ni Mpa, and the page ახალგაზრდული (Youth). Maia Dvalize and the page “ახალგაზრდული” (Youth) write that the nurse had the pre-prepared liquid in the syringe and didn’t withdraw the vaccine from the vial.

The video disseminated on the social network is a cut from “Rustavi 2” TV. The syringe full of liquid, as well as the nurse indeed administering the jab on Lana Ubilava’s arm can be seen on the video disseminated by Rustavi 2 and Facebook users as well.
In Georgia, a vaccination rollout launched on March 15, with the AstraZeneca vaccine. Paata Imnadze, the deputy head of the National Center for Disease Control publicly received the first vaccine. After Imnadze, Marina Ezugbaia and Marina Endeladze were the ones who publicly received the COVID-19 vaccine.
