Myth Detector continues publishing another case about most prevalent lies of Russia. Current case is about little boy.

Russian media outlet REN-TV aired the photo of a baby-boy. REN-TV claimed that child’s home was destroyed by Ukrainian security forces and “the boy is wondering around, looking for his mother”. According to the journalist, REN-TV-s news crew found out that little boy’s name is Kiril and her mother is called Svetlana. They live in village Nikishino, which was completely destroyed by Ukrainian forces.

In fact, little boy’s photo was taken from the music video called “Новороссию не победить!” (Novorossiya is undefeated) which is uploaded on Youtube. The child was brought to the filming by his mother. He was purposely dirtied and placed amongst the ruins for shocking effect.
