The same information was disseminated by Russian-language Facebook accounts (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7) in June.
The information that Joe Biden compared the US economy to his own health is satire and was made up by the satirical publication “Babylon Bee.”
On June 14th, an article about Joe Biden was published on the website of the satirical publication “Babylon Bee”, in which it is noted that Biden tried to calm Americans who were afraid of the impending economic recession, saying that the US economy is as vibrant and healthy as he is.
“You people have nothing to worry about. Best economic recovery ever! The economy is just as fit and healthy as Old Joe! said Biden to a 12-year-old girl in the junior’s clothing section of JCPenney he mistook for an MSNBC reporter.” – noted the Babylon Bee article.
“Babylon Bee” is a famous satirical outlet, the “about us” section of which notes that the stories published on the website are made up.
